TMDFilms is seeking extras for scenes in Trauma, a low-budget independent feature. This film is non-union and will shoot in and around Northern Colorado. Production is currently in process with planned shoots in September and October, and is expected to wrap by November 2015.
We’re currently in need of extras for the following days:
Theatre Goers (Extras) | Any Gender/Any Age
The Theatre Goers are non-paid, non-speaking extra roles and will be needed for approximately 2-3 hours of filming on Sunday, October 18th, 2015, at The Bug Theatre in Denver, Colorado, starting at 6:30pm.
All of the details you may need to participate in the shoot are below. If there’s anything we’ve missed, though, please feel free to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll be monitoring this email account all weekend and will do our best to reply promptly!
The shoot will take place this Sunday, October 18th, at The Bug Theatre. The Bug’s address is:
3654 Navajo Street
Denver, Colorado 80232
Directions: Take I-25 to exit 213 for 38th Ave/Park Ave and follow the signs for 38th Avenue. Use the middle lane to turn left onto Fox Street, then take a right onto W 38th Ave. Turn left on Navajo. The Bug will be one block down on the left.
Parking is available in the Patsy’s lot at 37th & Navajo, which is kitty corner from The Bug. There is also ample street parking available on both 37th and Navajo.
We’ll be starting at 6:30pm, with a goal of wrapping no later than 9:00pm.
The scene we’re shooting involves two main characters having a conversation outside of a theatre after a movie. We’ll have some of you exiting the theatre, and some of you milling around outside on the sidewalk, post-show.
When you arrive we’ll ask you to sign a release form giving us permission to film your image for the film, which will include a line to spell your name as you want it to appear on IMDb and in the film credits. (The expected completion date of the film is Fall of 2016, but IMDb credits will be added next week.) We’ll also have a copy of the form for you to take for your records as well. If you’re under the age of 18, please make sure you have a parent or guardian there who can sign your form as well.
The scene is set at night in the middle of fall, so clothing should reflect this. Sweaters and longer sleeves are preferred, though t-shirts are fine, but ideally no shorts. Muted colors are preferred, though almost any color will work. We only ask that you not wear any red anywhere, or any black on your tops, as the theatre is mostly red and black and those colors will blend in to the background. Nothing too loud, and nothing too crazy design wise, is preferable, and please avoid large logos (both corporate and sports). Think of something you’d wear on a casual, low-key date night. We’ll be outside, so jackets are highly recommended!
Finally, please feel free to instagram, facebook and tweet your experience, if you’re so inclined! We use the hashtag #traumathefeature to link all of the posts from the set.
Thank you so much for your interest in being a part of Trauma! We look forward to working with you this weekend!
